I want a braille display!
However the cheapest one ibcan find is 900$.
This too expensive, in my opinion, but still far cheaper than any other option available.
For the uninitiated, a braille display is a device with, usually with a line of refrrshable braille cells, although a few models with multiple lines or rows exist.
They can be connected to PCs or phones and used to read the output for a screen reader instead of, or in tendem with the text-to-speech. Some models also have some built in features like simple text editors, calculators, calendars and so on. Others are full computers that run things like Windows or Android.
I really want one to both avoid paper wate when writing, but also for the utility of being able to take and read notes quickly and quietly, but as statet before, they are very expensive.
Since my vision is still technically good enough to read print, and a lot of people in my country consider braille to be a dying language, I think getting the government to sponsor one would be difficult in my case.
If you for some reason decided to read my blog, thank you!
